I. Product Introduction:

Shang Hao Jia J-518 is a one-component, room temperature curing, low-whitening instant adhesive suitable for self-adhesion or mutual adhesion of silicone rubber with plastics, bakelite, etc. It provides excellent bonding strength specifically for materials such as TPE and bakelite. When bonding elastomers to PC with the company's primer, it can achieve the destructive strength of silicone rubber and thermoplastic elastomers.

II. Characteristics

Shang Hao Jia 518 is a one-component fast-drying adhesive, specifically designed for TPV thermoplastic elastomers. It features excellent adhesion for silicone rubber to thermoplastic elastomers, and bonding between PVC plastics and thermoplastic elastomers. When used on inert molecular materials like TPE thermoplastic elastomers, it should be applied in conjunction with Shang Hao Jia primer. After brushing a layer of activator on the surface of TPE or other thermoplastic elastomers and allowing the primer to dry completely, apply adhesive 518 or 942 and press together.

III. Usage Method:

1. Use a clean cloth to remove surface dirt, dust particles, etc., from the bonding parts.

2. Brush the primer (adhesion promoter) onto the surface of the silicone rubber or thermoplastic elastomer, and let it sit for 1-2 minutes until the primer is completely dry. Apply the adhesive to the bonding surface, then press the other part firmly for a few seconds.

3. The bonded items usually set in about 60 seconds. Do not separate or move the parts during this time, as it may affect the bonding strength.

4. The amount of adhesive should be such that a thin film is formed after bonding. Too little adhesive will result in insufficient strength, while too much will slow down curing and cause severe whitening.
